Frequently Asked Questions

How do you use it?

You can use it on your face, body, lips, even hair! We recommend applying liberally before outdoor activities, reapply as needed every 30 minutes especially after water use. Apply to hair when you are going to the beach or would like to protect it from the sun.

Is your product for all skin types?

Yes. Even those with very sensitive skin find that it has a calming and soothing effect. Coco Bee Organics is gentle and nourishing.

How often should I use it?

Your skin and schedule will determine the frequency with which you apply. The “sweet spot” can be anywhere from 1 to 5 times per day or when you feel you need it.

What are Non-nano particles?

Nano particles refer to the size of the zinc oxide mineral. Coco Bee zinc is non-nano zinc referring to the particle size as being larger than 100 nm. Zinc Oxide is stable in sunlight and can provide greater protection from UVA rays than titanium oxide or any other sunscreen chemical approved in the U.S.

What are the brown particles in my Coco Bee product?

Instead of filtering out all the compounds of beeswax, we leave them in so you can benefit from its beautiful properties. It's a substance called propolis, which are darker pigmented pieces that may be seen in your made-to-order batches of Coco Bee. Totally normal and safe to use!

Is it okay if it gets in my hair?

Absolutely – it is encouraged. Try massaging it into your scalp and hair, rinse after a day in the sun with a refreshing soap. Hair can take on a fuller appearance and increased manageability.

Can I use it on my body as well?

Definitely. It was formulated to make skin look and feel great. Apply it topically wherever you want, especially on freckles and moles to use its full potential.

Can I eat it?

Please DO NOT attempt this. Even though 100% of the ingredients are food-grade, it is not intended to ingest.

What kind of packaging is used?

All packaging is recyclable plus we encourage reusing our jars & tins for storage. We also ship with all recyclable materials.
